About

Welcome, It's Nice to Meet You!

**Currently waitlisted for new clients.** This is a space where warmth, collaboration, and comfort come together to support your journey toward self-discovery, healing, and meaningful change. My hope is that you feel genuinely welcomed and met with care and compassion. My practice focuses on perinatal mental health, including support during pregnancy, postpartum, pregnancy loss, infertility, and the transition into parenthood. I also work with adults exploring how ADHD shows up in their lives and relationships, with an emphasis on connection, communication, and understanding patterns that may feel frustrating, confusing, or hard to shift. Together, we’ll build insight, make meaningful connections, and gently challenge the outdated or unconscious patterns that may be holding you back. I also offer clinical supervision for Counseling and MFT Associates, providing a supportive, collaborative space that encourages growth, reflection, and confidence. I have advanced or certificate-level training in sex therapy, perinatal mental health, pregnancy loss, infertility, ADHD, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Emotionally Focused Individual Therapy (EFIT), and completed Level 2 training in Gottman Method Couples Therapy. I am also trained in Brainspotting, a powerful, body-based approach that can help with trauma, anxiety, ADHD, feeling “stuck”, performance enhancement in sports or the arts, and many other concerns. Brainspotting can also be an effective tool in couples' therapy. Please see below for more information specific to this approach. In Person - Bend; Telehealth - Entire State of Oregon. ******************************************************************** What Is Brainspotting? Brainspotting is a powerful, evidence-based therapy approach that helps you process emotional experiences at a deeper level than talking alone. It’s based on a simple idea: **where you look affects how you feel**. When something overwhelming or unresolved happens - whether it’s trauma, anxiety, grief, or chronic stress - your brain and nervous system may hold onto it, even if you understand it logically. Brainspotting works by accessing the parts of the brain where these experiences are stored, allowing your system to process and release them in a natural, supported way. How Brainspotting Works During a Brainspotting session, we work together to gently identify a specific eye position - called a *brainspot* - that connects to the emotional or physical experience you want to explore. This eye position helps access deeper brain and nervous system activity related to that issue. You don’t have to relive or explain everything in detail. Instead, you’re invited to notice what comes up in your body, emotions, or thoughts while staying grounded and supported. Your brain does the work it knows how to do - **process, integrate, and heal** - at its own pace. What a Session Feels Like Brainspotting sessions are typically calm, focused, and attuned. Some people notice physical sensations, emotions, images, or shifts in awareness; others experience a sense of relief or clarity over time. Clients are encouraged to share at their own pace and comfort level. The focus is on processing experiences in the subcortical, emotion-based systems of the brain and nervous system, rather than relying solely on the neocortical, cognitive processes that attempt to reason through distress. There’s no “right” way for it to look or feel. You remain fully present and in control throughout the process. My role is to provide guidance and support while your nervous system leads the healing. What Brainspotting Can Help With Brainspotting can be helpful for a wide range of concerns, including: * Trauma and PTSD * Anxiety and panic * Depression * ADHD * Grief and loss * Perinatal and postpartum concerns * Chronic stress or overwhelm * Feeling "stuck" * Attachment wounds * Performance anxiety or blocks for athletes and artists A Gentle, Brain-Based Approach Brainspotting is especially supportive for people who feel they’ve talked about things before but still feel impacted by them. It honors the connection between mind and body and works with your nervous system - not against it. Brainspotting for Couples Brainspotting can also be integrated into couples therapy to support deeper emotional awareness and connection. When unresolved experiences or nervous system responses show up in a relationship, they can drive patterns of conflict, withdrawal, or misattunement - even when both partners want change. In couples' sessions, Brainspotting helps each partner better understand their own internal responses while staying grounded and present in the relationship. This can support emotional regulation, repair after conflict, and increased empathy and connection. The process is approached intentionally, with specific attention to the unique needs of the relationship. If you’re curious about Brainspotting, we can talk about whether it’s a good fit for you and how it might be integrated into your therapy work.
